Solskjaer: The Glazer family have apologized to me regarding the European Super League

DBasia.news – Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted that the Glazer family as club owners had apologized to him personally regarding their participation in the European Super League.

The Glazer family has been under pressure. A number of Manchester United supporters has asked them to leave. Glazers are considered only concerned with profit without paying attention to achievement.

Solskjaer had said that the fans’ wishes had to be heard. However, on the other hand, he is also obliged to be behind the Glazer Family as he is included in the current management of Manchester United. Solskjaer regretted the demonstration which turned into a riot.

“It was a difficult day for us. We wanted to appear and defeated Liverpool for the sake of the supporters. Our job is to get the best results,” said Solskjaer as reported by Goal.

“As I said before, we have to hear what the supporters have to say. Everyone has the right to protest. However, it must be in a peaceful and civilized manner.”

“However, when you break through and a police officer is injured, it is too far. If it is out of control, it is a police problem. It is not a matter of your opinion anymore,” added the manager.

Solskjaer admitted that he had received an apology from the Glazer Family. Solskjaer hopes there will be good communication between supporters and owners.

“I’ve communicated with the owner. I received a personal apology. They started communicating with individuals besides me and the supporters.”

“It is a difficult position for me. I have to focus on football. I’ve always had a good relationship with the supporters. I am sure there will be better communication in the future.”
