Solskjaer Warns Rashford before the Club Recruits Haaland

DBasia.news –  Manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, gave an ultimatum to attackers at Manchester United, including Marcus Rashford. This was done before Erling Haaland’s move would be realized soon.

Erling Haaland is believed to be a Manchester United recruit in January 2020. In fact, it is said that Haaland has had conversations with Solskjaer, who incidentally was a former coach during his time at Molde.

If Haaland were brought in from RB Salzburg, the competition on Man United’s front lines will increase. Aside from Marcus Rashford, the Red Devils also still has Anthony Martial.

Nevertheless, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer actually feels the arrival of a new striker like Erling Haaland should be accepted by Marcus Rashford with the spirit of competition.

Solskjaer gave an example when he played for Man United for 11 years, there were several other strikers who became his colleagues and competitors. Namely Dwight Yorke, Andy Cole, to Teddy Sheringham.

“I played at this club for 11 years and cannot say how many strikers we have recruited and potentially threaten my position in the squad,” said Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as quoted by Metro.co.uk.

He asserted, in a club as big as Man United, no player would have been guaranteed to always play or be left untouched.

“It was a challenge as a Man United player. You will not get a guarantee of playing in every match unless your performance is the best, “Solskjaer concluded.
