Solskjaer’s Message Behind Man United’s Victory Over Cardiff

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

DBasia.news – Manchester United achieved the victory and three points when they visited Cardiff City on the 18th-week of Premier League, Sunday (23/12).

Playing under the new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, The Red Devils went wild and won 5-1 by the goals from Marcus Rashford, Ander Herrera, Anthony Martial, and two goals of Jesse Lingard. The host just responded by the penalty kick from Victor Camarasa.

Responding to the victory, Solskjaer couldn’t hide his excitement and revealed the key behind the winning.

“One of the things I talked about is that a Manchester United team should never ever be outworked. It doesn’t matter what team you play: you should run more than them and then your skills will give you a chance of winning again,” Solskjaer said cited by Goal.

“When you’ve got players like this with quality, they’re always going to create chances. There’s quite a few (positives). The attitude and application of the boys when you go out there and see them, the attitude has been fantastic. It’s been a difficult week for everyone and to get the focus and perform as well as they did impressed (me),” he added.

The victory against Cardiff indeed hasn’t changed the position of Old Trafford club, they are still on the sixth position with 29 points.

After this match, United would have the next match, Boxing Day against Huddersfield on Wednesday (26/12).
