SPAL Finally Wins Its First Victory After a Five-Month Absence

DBasia.news –  Each team must hope to win every game they play in. If the results are not what they want, they will continue to try to get it. Including what was done by SPAL, one of the weak clubs in the Serie A competition. However, in the match of the third week on Sunday (9/15) at 20:00 Western Indonesian Time, SPAL won.

His opponent, one of the strongest clubs in Serie A, is Lazio. The score is 2-1. Actually, the match was almost a 1-1 draw but there was a bit of chaos in front of the Lazio goal in the 92nd minute. A wild ball was immediately struck by SPAL midfielder Jasmin Kurtic and fired at the Lazio goal.

So fast was it that Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha could not estimate the direction of the ball and was helpless to see the round skin breaking into the net. The remaining four minutes of overtime were clearly not enough for Lazio to equalize. Plus, Lazio doesn’t play in real performance.

Even so, don’t be annoyed with SPAL because they also want to win. In fact, the last victory they felt in Series A occurred five months ago. Precisely on May 4, 2019, or still in the 2018/19 season. At that time, SPAL crushed Chievo 4-0. After that, there were the last three matches of the season that were lost.

Likewise in the two matches this season, SPAL was defeated. Last season, SPAL finished 13th. Certainly, their target is not much different from merely surviving in Serie A.
