Sporting Lisbon Allowed Bruno Fernandes to Leave

Bruno Fernandes

DBasia.news –  Marcel Keizer, Coach of Sporting Lisbon, surrendered to the future fate of Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese midfielder is very much wanted by Manchester United.

The saga transfer of the 24-year-old player has continued to roll this summer. Man United seemed unfocused in completing Fernandes’ transfer, as they were also eyeing the Lazio midfielder, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Keizer wanted Fernandes to last another season with Sporting, who he has strengthened from 2017. However, he surrenders if United meets Fernandes’ tag and purchase hikm this summer.

“We will see if we can defend our players and then we look back on what we can do,” Keizer said.

“I hope he (Fernandes) stays, of course, like all players at Sporting. However, we don’t know that,” he added, as quoted by the Goal.

In line with Keizer, Fernandes’ teammate, Luciano Vietto, also hopes that the former Udinese and Sampdoria player will survive for another season with the Portuguese club.

“He is the most important player in our team. I hope he will continue (continue his career at Sporting),” hoped Vietto.

Man United is rumored to be offering a transfer fund of 56 million pounds. However, Sporting wanted more money from the midfielder who scored 31 goals and gave 17 assists in all competitions last season.
