Sriwijaya FC: It Shouldn’t Be Terminated

Sriwijaya FC

DBasia.news – BOPI asked PSSI to temporary terminate all the leagues starting from Tuesday (25/9). Sriwijaya FC gave their comment.

In principle, Sriwijaya FC management should understand BOPI’s disappointment for the tragic football. Sriwijaya FC also in grieve for the death of Persija Jakarta supporter Haringga Sirla due to attack from Bobotoh in the match between Persib against Persija Jakarta at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium, Sunday (23/9).

But, stopping the competition shouldn’t be done. Sriwijaya FC assistant manager Achmad Haris mentioned the disciplinary sanction is enough as the punishment for the committee of Persib match.

“Perhaps it shouldn’t be stopped. But give the proper sanction to the organizing committee and troubled supporter,” he said.

The attacker of Haringga Sirla should be punished. Similarly, PSSI and PT Liga Indonesia Baru should give the sanction to the organizing committee for a future lesson, also for other Liga 1 teams.

“We hope this incident won’t happen again. The attackers must be punished, the committee must be sanctioned, and we hope the Liga will continue,” he said.
