Struggle for redemption
By news-admin
DBasia.news – JOHOR BAHRU: The Super League champion Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) wants to ensure the injuries due to the defeat of Kuala Lumpur before, in response to a scheduled meeting at the Tan Sri Hassan Yunos Stadium in Larkin tomorrow night.
JDT’s operator, Raul Longhi said the KL run by Fabio Maciel was the only team to beat South Tigers in the league and the chance to meet the Citizens’ squad will be a field to redeem the defeat of 0-1 last February 11.
He said, KL had scored an unbeaten JDT record before and the defeat affected every player and that the last game at home has to be played with victory.
“Of course we want revenge with the losses suffered after the match had to be postponed due to the rain. We want to win in the last league game and indeed the mentality to hunt for the win has been pinned among players.
“I’m going to bring out Marcos (Antonio) and Gonzalo (Cabrera) who have not played against PKNP FC recently,” he said.
Regardless, Longhi does not deny KL has its own strength and every JDT player must always be cautious with the cunning of opponents who wisely take the opportunity to create a network.
According to him, Maciel’s men will be more enthusiastic about having beaten JDT and possibly reinforcing their central position and defense to pursue victory.
“They are lined up with great players, while Guilherme de Paula, Paulo Josué and Zaquan Adha Abd Radzak can be considered a key force of KL.
“What I want from every player is showing a high commitment, controlling the match and playing positively without letting KL control the game,” said Longhi.
