DBasia.news – KELANTAN calls on fans to fill the stadium, the Sultan Muhammad Ke-IV Stadium to boost players’ spirits when they face Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) in the Malaysia Cup group match tonight.

Kelantan manager Yusri Che Lah said the loyal supporters of the Red Warriors (TRW) are also expected to avoid mixing up external issues with the Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) instead of continuing to support solidarity.

“I really hope the presence of many supporters tonight to the stadium will increase our spirit and the outside news revolving KAFA.

“I’m confident that supporters still want Kelantan football to rise so they (supporters) are helping us because their support is very useful for all players to win the fight,” he said.

At the same time, Yusri admits that JDT is not an easy opponent as the Southern Tigers also want to be comfortable in Group C.

“Indeed we want to pursue the winning points or at least the points to pursue the best position but we have to admit that JDT is not an easy opponent.

“What I need the players to do is use the opportunity to play at their best at home at tonight’s match,” he said.

Kelantan is third in Group C after two matches with only one point.
