Supporting Real Madrid to win the LaLiga, Luis Garcia believes Barcelona is not in their Best shape

DBasia.news – The 2019-2020 LaLiga competition has entered the final phase. The fight between Real Madrid and Barcelona to win the title will soon reach its peak.

Barcelona managed to cut the gap to just one point with Real Madrid after beating Real Valladolid by a score of 1-0. But Los Blancos ha the chance to stay away if they are able to win over Granada, Tuesday (7/14) AM.

Spanish football legend, Luis Garcia also commented on the opportunities of the two teams. He further favors Real Madrid as they have appeared more consistent this season.

“After two seasons without a (LaLiga) trophy, Real Madrid are in a strong position to win the title. They appeared strong and solid and have a one point advantage,” Luis Garcia said at the virtual press conference session initiated by LaLiga on Monday (7/13).

Luis Garcia, who once defended Barcelona also commented on the situation experienced by his former club. El Barca’s trip this season was marked by a number of problems including the change of coaches from Ernesto Valverde to Quique Setien.

“At this moment we did not see the best of Barcelona. Setien and them are still trying to adapt to the new situation in this transition phase,” he added.

“Maybe Barcelona haven’t been able to show their best performance. But I think in a situation like this, the most important thing is they don’t lose points even though they only won 1-0 like their last two games.”

Barcelona’s appearance has dropped dramatically, especially since LaLiga rolled back. Lionel Messi drew three times which made them overtaken Madrid.

This was compounded by the emergence of news related to the internal conflict that struck Barcelona. Star players like Messi and Suarez are said to be in a disagreement with coaching staff.

“The most important thing is the coach and the players must think to try to finish this season as well as possible. If they fail (to win the LaLiga), they just have to start again next season to win the trophy,” he concluded.
