DBasia.news – Swiss player who performed well during the 2018 World Cup, Xherdan Shaqiri believed to have the medical check-up in Liverpool. Shaqiri decided to end his holiday and came to Melwood, the training base of Liverpool.
As reported by Sky Sports, Shaqiri was having the medical check-up as part of the transfer after Stoke received the offer £13,5M or around RP255 billion.
The Swiss striker has stated that he wanted to leave Stoke, especially after the club wasn’t entering the Premier League.
Shaqiri came to Stoke in 2015 from Serie A club, Inter Milan. Along with Stoke, he performed 64 times. Actually, Shaqiri is still in contract with Stoke for 2 more years.
Shaqiri will be the third player for Liverpool this season. Previously, The Reds had Fabinho and Naby Keita.
