TFCII is struggling to survive
By news-admin
DBasia.news – “My sympathy with TFC II coach (Terengganu FC II), Mustaffa Kamal Abd Wahab,” said Terengganu FC (TFC) head coach Irfan Bakti Abu Salim.
He said this after the squad ‘s younger brother who is now occupying the Premier League bottom is growing and can be likened to’ fish life ‘to stay in the league next season and is likely to be eliminated into the FAM League if the draw or lose to MIFA in final action at Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium, tomorrow night.
However, if Penang is currently earning 20 points compared to Mustaffa’s squad who collected 17 points in the last leg of FELDA United FC, the dream of the TFC II squad to remain in the Premier League next season is shattered despite winning the K Devan squad that is.
The TFC II squad, formerly known as T-Team, is fit to play in the Super League this season after struggling in the last season under the tutelage of Indonesian coach Rahmad Darmawan.
But after the re-branding of the state football team, Terengganu State Football Association (PBSNT) headed by its then president Datuk Seri Razif Abd Rahman decided to “squeeze” the squad of The Titans into action in the Premier League competition under the name TFC II as a ‘feeder’ team or support team for the TFC in action in the Super League.
Following that, Rahmad, who previously expressed interest in continuing to guide TFC II squad, along with Hasbullah Awang, Amierul Hakimi Awang, Akanni Sunday Wasiu and Bruno Suzuki made the U round to leave the team early this season due to disappointment with the decision.
