DBasia.news – The inaugural Group B match for the 2020 European Cup has been completed. The result, Belgium are firmly at the top of the standings.
In the first match, Denmark had to admit Finland’s 0-1 advantage at Parken Stadium, Copenhagen, Saturday (12/6) night WIB. Finland’s winning goal was scored by Joel Pohjanpalo in the 59th minute.
In the second match, Belgium managed to beat Russia 3-0 at the Saint Petersburg Stadium, Sunday (13/6) am. Romelu Lukaku emerged as a star with two goals in the 10th and 88th minutes. Another goal from Belgium was presented by Thomas Meunier in the 34th minute.
This result has made Belgium firmly at the top of Group B standings with 3 points. Followed by Finland in second place which only lost on goal difference.
Denmark and Russia followed in third and fourth respectively in the standings.
