The Reason Gareth Bale Left Europe

DBasia.news – After 16 years of his career in Europe, Gareth Bale is now in the United States to play in Major League Soccer (MLS).

Bale joins Los Angeles FC (LAFC) which also owns Giorgio Chiellini and Carlos Vela. His arrival enlivened the news as Bale was not just an ordinary player, he was a Real Madrid legend after 9 years.

Although at the end of his career with Madrid Bale rarely played, in the past his goals were crucial for Madrid in winning trophies. In his CV he has three LaLiga titles, one Copa del Rey, one Spanish Super Cup and five Champions League trophies.

When Bale decided to leave Madrid, the former Tottenham Hotspur player was rumored to be returning to play in the Premier League. But the surprising decision was when played in MLS. What was the reason Bale moved to LAFC?

“The club is really growing,” Bale told ESPN reporters Taylor Twellman and Jon Champions during the first half of the LAFC game against the LA Galaxy.

“It’s really very new, but it’s something that is really glamorous and the club is very attractive. Just by talking to them, it feels like I made the right decision. It immediately felt like home,” he added.

With great experience and success in Europe, as well as having 106 caps and 39 goals with the Wales national team, Bale looks forward to helping the young LAFC players.

“I can come in and offer what I can do in football, but I can help the young players. Because obviously it’s a young team, giving them advice, seeing what I’m doing in terms of professional standards and trying to help them.”

“I think the league is a growing league and it’s an exciting opportunity that I feel is right for me and my family.”

“I wanted to come here, I wanted to play games, I wanted to make my impression and I wanted to do the best I could to help LAFC try to win trophies,” Bale hoped.
