The Spanish national team admits that they don’t have time for tactical training

DBasia.news – There is a sense of concern that accompanies the Spanish National Team’s move towards the inaugural match of the 2020 European Cup. The reason is, La Furia Roja doesn’t have much time to practice tactics.

The preparations for the Spanish national team were disrupted after Sergio Busquets was positive with the corona virus (COVID-19). This has made the other players have to undergo training in groups.

This is done to avoid increasing the number of victims infected with COVID-19. If that happens, the power of Spain will be increasingly crippled.

Diego Llorente had tested positive as well. However, after undergoing a second test, the results were negative and the Leeds United defender was allowed to return to the Spanish national team.

“We’ve done individual training with more physicality which is useful in terms of fitness. But we haven’t had the collective preparation needed with sessions where there’s ball training, passing, ball possession, mini-games, combinations,” said Spanish international player, Pedri to the Guardians.

“We haven’t done much with the ball. And that’s what really makes things work.”

Enrique is not Panicing

Spain will host Sweden in the inaugural match of Group E at the Estadio de La Cartuja, Tuesday (15/6) am, WIB. The potential opponent certainly cannot be underestimated.

However, Enrique does not panic with the lack of preparation for his team’s tactics. Most importantly for him, Alvaro Morata and his team mates have understood the philosophy of the game he wants.

“It’s true that I like it when the players say that they understand very clearly what I want. But I would prefer it if they do what I ask on the pitch,” added Enrique.

“I have a starting line-up that’s more or less settled in my head, but there will always be a few other players on your mind.”
