DBasia.news – Arsenal manager Unai Emery hasn’t satisfied with the 17 unbeaten matches of all competitions after defeating Bournemouth with a 2-1 score in the English League Cup.
After the match, Unai Emery emphasized that he isn’t satisfied with the achievement. The former Paris Saint-Germain coach assumes his squad faced a difficulty after the previous three draw results.
“We’ve not lost for 17 matches but we’ve drawn some and that is not enough for us,” Emery said.
“We spoke in the week about how important today was. We are happy and before the match, we knew it would be a difficult match and that we needed to win today,” Unai Emery added.
Despite the 17 unbeaten matches, Unai Emery won’t be satisfied too soon. The Spanish man hopes his squad won’t loosen the spirit and set the victory as the main target.
Arsenal are in the fifth position of English League temporary standing with 27 points from 13 matches. The Gunners are 8 points behind Manchester City who lead the table with 35 points.
