DBasia.news – Liverpool legend, Kenny Dalglish, is aware that there is no match that is more valuable than the health of many people. But he also doesn’t want the Premier League this season to be canceled because of the Corona virus.
Previously, West Ham officials, Karren Brady, expressed the option to cancel the 2019-2020 Premier League amid the increasingly massive corona virus outbreak. Brady rates, the Premier League this season is no longer possible to continue.
Brady’s desire was opposed by Dalglish. Moreover, Liverpool are currently far superior from competitors.
“We have to give time to finish the competition in our backyard. If that means having to perform on the second night every three weeks during May or even June, then so be it,” said Dalglish as reported by the Sunday Post.
“I know that is far from the ideal word. However, every club will be on the same boat. So, it will be played in an equivalent arena. What cannot be done is to abolish the 2019-2020 season.”
However, Kenny Dalglish did not want the competition to be forced when conditions got worse. The 69-year-old man assessed, public safety is the main thing.
“We must hope that people will be safe and free of the virus in the near future,” continued the legend.
“Football is the right game for health problems around the world. We can never underestimate the importance of it all. Of course, my main focus is to pray that everything is fine,” stated Dalglish.
At present, the English football federation
has decided to postpone the Premier League until early April. Based on the
schedule, Liverpool will visit Manchester City headquarters.
