DBasia.news – Former Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry gave a scathing comment to Mohamed Salah, he criticized Salah for saying too much about revenge against Madrid before the final match.
After Liverpool secured a ticket to the UCL final, by beating Villarreal in the semi-finals, Salah immediately said that he wanted to face Los Blancos in Paris. The Egypt forward has not been shy about admitting he wants revenge after they beat the Reds in the 2018 Champions League final, a match in which Salah had to be sent off in the first half due to injury following a clash with Sergio Ramos.
However, instead of solving a grudge, Salah was made heartbroken again by Madrid, after Vinicius Junior’s second-half goal was enough to present the 14th Big Ear for the La Liga giants, Sunday (29/5) early morning WIB.
Now Henry is warning Salah that he shouldn’t open his mouth before the game.
“I always say, don’t talk too much before the final. Beat Real Madrid, then talk and say, ‘This is our revenge’ and so on. If you talk before the final, you must win, “explained the Arsenal legend.
Henry added: “We’ve said many times, it’s about getting the ball into the opponent’s goal. They [Real Madrid] had one accurate shot and they scored.”
“Liverpool have a lot, but they faced Thibaut Courtois. Remember what I said in the semi-finals, that he is not given the credit he deserves? He is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and better than Ederson. And he proved it tonight.”
Salah cs must immediately put aside the disappointment of being defeated by Madrid, because they have to carry out a trophy parade through the city of Liverpool, to celebrate success in the FA Cup and the English League Cup.
