This Is Why Pep Guardiola Wants to Coach the National Team

DBasia.news –  Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, revealed that he wants to leave the duty as a club coach and chooses to coach the national team in the future.

Pep Guardiola is known as one of the top coaches. During his period in Barcelona, Bayern Munchen, and Manchester City, the Spanish manager always presented the prestigious titles.

But, Guardiola is getting tired with all the match intensity in the club level. He wants to have more time to enjoy his hobby, playing golf.

“I would like to be an international manager in a national team. Sooner or later, it will happen because every three days I would like to be involved,” Guardiola explained.

“But a little bit more calm, play more golf…now I do not have time to play,” he emphasized.

“So yes, sooner or later it is going to happen, if I have a chance and some international team wants to come ‘knock knock’ (at my door). We will see.”

Guardiola feels happy with his choice to coach in many clubs. He learned a lot of lessons.

“I am a better manager than I was in Germany, and I am a better manager now than I was in Barcelona by far, just for the fact of being there. Now, I feel being here I am a better manager too because I learned to handle this incredible league in many circumstances,” the manager said.

“Travel and discover many things and you will find what you like to do.”
