Thomas Tuchel Called Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Gives the Worst Loss of His Career

DBasia.news – Ahead of Chelsea’s match against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge this weekend, Germany manager Thomas Tuchel is reflecting on his last meeting with Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Thomas Tuchel took over Chelsea from the hands of Frank Lampard. From the first eight matches, the manager has never lost. Chelsea reap two draws plus six wins. In addition, Chelsea have conceded only twice.

This impressive record did not make Ole Gunnar Solskjaer feel discouraged. He remains ambitious to bring home three points from London.

“You can see the results, statistics, and possession of the ball they have. The ability to keep the team away from their own goal. Tuchel’s performance is good enough,” said Solskjaer as reported by Metro.

“It’s not easy to come in during the season. He should be satisfied with the results achieved.”

“However, we hope to stop the slick incision. That is now my job,” said the manager.

Competition is increasingly fierce

Solskjaer also commented on his team’s position in the standings. Currently, Man United is in second place with 10 points behind Manchester City who are at the top. The Reds Devils are six points from Chelsea who are entrenched in fifth place.

“We have to focus on looking at one game at a time. The next three games will have a big role,” said Solskjaer.

“There is Chelsea behind. In addition, there is Manchester City up front which of course we will not let them run far. We also will not give Chelsea the opportunity to catch up.”

Man United are waiting for tough opponents in March. Paul Pogba and his friends will face Crystal Palace, Manchester City, AC Milan, West Ham United and Leicester City.
