Tite Judges Pele’s Level is Different from Messi

DBasia.news –  The Brazilian national team coach, Tite, was apparently not willing if Lionel Messi is compared with the football legend from his country, Pele. Tite rejects the belief that calls Lionel Messi as the best footballer in the world. Lionel Messi has just rescued Argentina when dealing with Brazil in a friendly match in Saudi Arabia, Saturday (11/16/2019).

“Is Messi better than Pele? Pele is incomparable. Whoever wants to compare Pele with other athletes really doesn’t know anything. Messi is amazing but still human. Pele is an extraordinary human being. He exceeds normal parameters,” Tite was quoted as saying by Marca.

The 58-year-old coach insisted he was not being subjective in looking at the legend and Lionel Messi. In fact, he said, Perola Negra is indeed a perfect figure. Very far compared to La Pulga.

“I’m not saying this because I’m Brazilian. I say this because I see the history, Pele’s greatness, his game, his individual technique, his header, the greatness of his two legs, his strength, and his impulse. If you want to find a defect, you will not be able to find it,” explained Tite again.

Furthermore, Tite revealed another factor that made Perola Negra too great to be compared to Lionel Messi. “If that’s not enough, Pele has extraordinary charisma. What happened with Messi yesterday in the field, I asked for a yellow card, instead he asked me to shut up,” he said again.

Apart from that, Tite seems difficult to prevent the comparison of the legend with Lionel Messi. Argentina vs Uruguay national team match results become one of the reasons. In that match, thanks to one goal, La Pulga became the second person from South America to score 70 goals with the national team. The only person who first did that was Perola Negra with a collection of 77 goals for the Brazilian national team.
