Tottenham’s preparations for a busy schedule in December have been hit hard after the North London club encountered a COVID-19 storm. The Mirror reported that there were six cases in Antonio Conte’s squad.

The latest news is that Tottenham have submitted a postponement of their Premier League match against Brighton which was scheduled to take place on Sunday (12/12). Prior to the match against Brighton, Spurs will also play against Rennes in the UEFA Conference League, Friday (10/12).

Tottenham are claimed to have six known cases in the team from the latest test results in November 29 to December 5, 2021 period.

The Premier League has confirmed there have been 12 new positive cases in the country with six of those coming from Tottenham.

“The Premier League can confirm that between Monday (29/11) and Sunday (5/12), from two tests, 3,154 players and club staff were tested for COVID-19,” the Premier League said in a statement.
