DBasia.news – Real Madrid have learned from their inconsistency in playing this season in all competitions to finally have to recall Zinedine Zidane.
Not wanting to wait long, Zidane immediately asked the club to move to secure targeted players. The first name that was successfully recruited was FC Porto’s mainstay defender, Eder Militao who was brought in at a fantastic price of 50 million euros.
Aside from Militao, there are still a number of other players who are also on the transfer radar, one of the figure mentioned to be the main target is Mohamed Salah who is now shining with Liverpool.
Since deciding to leave AS Roma and close to Anfield in 2017, Salah has indeed become one of the players who is able to appear consistent and irreplaceable on the front lines of the team. In his first season, the Egyptian player managed to collect 44 goals, while now in the 2018/19 season, Salah has scored 25 goals.
If you look at the statistics that Salah has, it doesn’t seem strange if Los Blancos has made him the main target, but according to one former Reds player, Luis Garcia, there is one way Liverpool must do to prevent Salah from leaving for the Santiago Bernabeu, namely winning the trophy.
“If Liverpool can win the trophy, I think it will be easier for the club to be able to retain Mohamed Salah. We all know that Barcelona and Real Madrid will be in the transfer market and trying to recruit the best players in the summer,” Garcia said as reported by the Mirror.
Opportunities for the Reds to win the trophy while maintaining Mo Salah at Anfield seem to be quite wide open, besides the player who has just signed a new contract until 2023, Liverpool are also comfortable at the top of the Premier League standings and have confirmed a place in the Champions League semifinals.
