Tuck relieved after beating FELCRA

DBasia.news – Kuala Terengganu: Import player of Terengganu FC (TFC), Lee Tuck said he was satisfied after successfully helping his team win against Premier League runners-up, FELCRA FC in the second round of Group A Malaysia Cup at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium in Cheras, last night.

In fact, the England-born import player’s ability to create a hat-trick for a 4-1 win proves that the player is not just cleverly planning the midfield but also for a sharp finish.

“This is the most beautiful moment and a special night with TFC as it has not only managed to help the team win but it’s my first hat-trick this season and it has boosted my spirits.

“However, what’s more important in this night’s victory is that it managed to take the team ahead to the quarter-finals despite still having two matches to meet Perak and Kuala Lumpur at home,” Tuck said.

The 30-year-old who started his career with the Halifax Town club in England in 2007 scored three goals in the 20th, 61th and 79th minute while another goal was scored by captained Kipre Tchetche in the 18th minute.

The only goal by the hosts was David Laly in the third minute.

Tuck was the second TFC player after Tchetche who did a hat-trick so far.

Commenting further, Tuck, who was unbeaten in his first round match against The Rivals, hoped the victory would not make him and his teammates be overconfident even though his team could now sleep well after qualifying for the quarter-finals.

“It’s a first step but our hope is to play in the finals and then win as champions and hope we can do better in the next game,” Tuck said.
