DBasia.news – Two giant Premiere League clubs, Manchester City and Chelsea did not seem to want to miss in obtaining the signature of Inter Milan’s mainstay striker, Lautaro Martinez. Chelsea and Manchester City are also reportedly ready to provide a high salary for the Argentine player.
Based on reports by Sport, Chelsea and Man City are ready to pay salaries of 10 million euros (around Rp177 billion) per season. This value is twice what the player receives at Inter Milan.
Lautaro Martinez will most likely move from Inter Milan. One reason is the release clause of 111 million euros (around Rp1.9 trillion).
Apart from Manchester City and Chelsea, there is Barcelona who also want to bring in Lautaro Martinez. Barcelona received direct instructions from Lionel Messi who wanted his teammates in the Argentine national team to play with him.
Reportedly, Barcelona’s contract offer is still lower than City and Chelsea, which is eight million euros (around Rp141 billion) per season.
An impressive performance throughout the 2019/20 season has made Lautaro Martinez targeted by many club giants in Europe.
In his first season, Lautaro Martinez only scored six goals in Serie A, now he is able to score 11 goals in 22 matches. Despite failing to bring Inter Milan through the group stage in the Champions League, the 22-year-old player has proved that he is able to compete at the European level by scoring five goals in six appearances.
