Van Gaal Reveals Reasons Manchester United Did Not Immediately Dismiss Solskjaer

DBasia.news – Former Manchester United coach Louis van Gaal gave his comments regarding the future of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. According to him, there are strong reasons why Man United did not immediately fire their tactician.

Despite winning 6-2 against Leeds United in the last match, Manchester United can still be said to be inconsistent. Apart from failing in the Champions League, Man United also often won minor results against clubs of lower quality.

However, Ole Gunnar Solsjaer’s position is still safe until now. In fact, the management of Manchester United has reportedly been in contact with Mauricio Pochettino.

Van Gaal thinks Manchester United have strong reasons why they don’t fire Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Moreover, Solskjaer is a coach who knows Man United very well.

“Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a former player. Manchester United will not fire him in such a fast tempo as experienced by other tacticians,” said Van Gaal as reported by the Mirror.

“Manchester United will not sack the manager in mid-season, let alone Solskjaer. I see all the stories about Solskjaer and his future in the media.”

However, there is no ivory that is not cracked. If Manchester United fail to reach the target at the end of the season, Van Gaal predicts Solskjaer will also be kicked out.

“However, Manchester United waited until the end of the season to fire me. That could happen to Solskjaer,” he said.

Currently, Manchester United are moving to third place in the Premier League standings. Next, The Red Devils are waiting for a difficult match, namely visiting the headquarters of Everton and Leicester City. After that, Paul Pogba and his friends will arrive at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
