DBasia.news – Inter Milan coach Antonio Conte said VAR technology caused many problems in Serie A, especially this season.
In the Serie A’s 10th week match, two referee decisions caused irregularities. First when VAR thwarted Napoli’s victory over Atalanta and the second when the referee pointed to the spot on Juventus when Cristiano Ronaldo fell in the forbidden box of Genoa.
For Antonio Conte, this happened because the use of VAR by referees was not in line. Whereas before he was confident enough if the technology could make the game run fairer.
“VAR is not used the same way by everyone. Though it is very important to make a decision. “Last season I was more confident with that, but today we don’t understand how it should be used because there are so much inequality and instability,” Conte said.
“If I become a referee and have technology like that I will make a decision and then put it in the hands of VAR. I will lead the match more calmly,” he added.
