Vinicius Junior

DBasia.news –  The young Real Madrid star, Vinicius Junior, was appointed as a replacement for Neymar in the Brazilian national team squad which will face two friendly matches mid-March.

Despite being 18 years old, Vinicius Junior was able to prove his quality with Real Madrid under the tutelage of Santiago Solari. He managed to score three goals and 12 assists from 26 appearances with the Real Madrid senior squad.

Vinicius Junior will replace Neymar, who is currently undergoing a recovery process with an injury to his leg with Paris Saint-Germain. He is predicted to be able to return to grazing in late March or early April 2019.

Besides not bringing Neymar, the Brazilian national team coach, Tite, also decided to leave some other senior players. Marcelo, Willian, Paulinho, and Douglas Costa failed to penetrate the Brazilian national team squad. Their position was replaced by Lucas Paqueta, Eder Militao, Dani Alves, Felipe Anderson, and Everton.

The Brazilian national team will undergo two friendly parties against Panama and the Czech Republic in mid-March. The two friendship parties will be used by Tite to find the perfect composition ahead of the Copa America event which will be held next summer.
