Rafinha Alcantara

DBasia.news – The prominent Germany apparel, Adidas, sued Barcelona midfielder Rafinha Alcantara due to the violation of their partnership.

Since last week, Rafinha has been wearing Japanese shoes, Mizuno. It’s surprising because he is under the contract with Adidas.

The situation made Adidas upset. The Germany apparel company decided to sue the Brasilian player.

Adidas lawyer, Dolf Segaar said the case has been registered to Amsterdam, Netherlands court. Adidas has officially submitted their indictment to Rafinha.

“The case is being handled at an Amsterdam court as the Adidas venture with whom Rafinha signed a contract is based in the Dutch capital,” Dolf Segaar said.

The charge is no kidding. They fined Rafinha 90,000 euro (Rp1,49 billion) for each day not wearing the Adidas shoes.

Rafinha signed the contract with Adidas in 2013 and ended in June 2018. But, he didn’t respond to the contract negotiation with the apparel hence the renewal until 2023.

According to Spanish media, Rafinha considers his contract with Adidas has ended, that’s why he wears the Mizuno shoes. The Barcelona midfielder chose the black shoes to prevent the chaos.

The decision about Adidas’ charge to Rafinha would be released on December 18th, 2018. The judges in Amsterdam would learn about this case.
