By db-admin
DBasia.news – Robert Lewandowski has been named FIFA’s 2020 world player of the year. He was elected by means of a vote by the captain and coach of the national team members of the world football federation.
This makes a number of stars who are captains of their country’s national team have the right to vote. It would be interesting to know who they chose.
Lionel Messi is one of the star players who have voting rights because of his status as captain of Argentina. Uniquely, he is one of the candidates to win this award.
Reporting from Squawka, Messi chose Neymar as the first rank for this award red. Meanwhile, Lewandowski was only placed third or below Kylian Mbappe.
The choice of Neymar as the first rank is natural. The two players do have a close relationship.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo, who served as captain of Portugal, had a different choice with Messi. He put Lewandowski in first place.
Interestingly, Ronaldo chose Messi and Mbappe in second and third place. Even though La Pulga did not choose it from the three available options.
An equally interesting choice was taken by the winner, Lewandowski. The captain of the Polish national team did not include Messi and Ronaldo in the three candidates.
Lewandowski actually put Thiago Alcantara in first place. The Spanish midfielder was indeed his servant at Bayern Munich before moving to Liverpool last summer.
In second place, Lewandowski chose Neymar. Meanwhile, Kevin De Bruyne is in third place.
