DBasia.news – Based on reports from The Sun, Chelsea offered his goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to AC Milan to get his keeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Chelsea are in need of a new goalkeeper for next season. Their main goalkeeper Kepa, who has the status as the most expensive goalkeeper in the world performed poorly this season.
The Spanish goalkeeper was bought from Athletic Bilbao in the summer of 2018 with a price of 80 million euros. However, the current market price of Kepa has dropped dramatically to 32 million euros.
Meanwhile, Donnarumma’s contract at Milan is just one more year and the player has reportedly wanted to leave the San Siro several times in the near future. Milan planned to release the Italian national team goalkeeper at a price of 50 million euros.
Unfortunately not only Chelsea who wanted to swap goalkeeper. Behind Chelsea there is Paris Saint-Germain who has the same interest.
Even though they already has Keylor Navas, PSG still wanting Donnarumma who is only 21 years old to be their key goalkeeper in the future, considering Navas is already 33 years old.
PSG planned to release Alphonse Areola instead. The French goalkeeper has been displaced from the PSG first team this season and is currently at Real Madrid on loan, which contract will end this season.
Donnarumma himself is AC Milan’s main goalkeeper throughout this season. He has appeared in 26 matches and recorded 10 clean sheets. Milan are said to be more interested in selling Donnarumma than exchanging him with a new goalkeeper.
