DBasia.news – Inter Milan manager, Antonio Conte is rumored to be overhauling by selling eleven players in the transfer market this summer. Surprisingly, the name of their brand-new player, Christian Eriksen has been included in the list.
Conte seems disappointed with the performance of the player who has not been consistent which has made Inter frequently slip in the middle of the competition for the Scudetto. Therefore he wants to reform his squad.
The La Gazzetta dello Sport report said that Conte had revealed the plan to management. Eriksen entered the list because he had just received strong criticism from the coach.
Eriksen was brought in last January at a fee of 20 million euros from Tottenham Hotspur. He is expected to be a good companion for Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.
But Eriksen struggled to adapt to Italian football and the style of play that Conte applied. He has not been able to prove his status as one of the best midfielders in Europe at the moment.
So far, Eriksen has only had the chance to appear 16 times with Inter in all competitions. He was able to record three goals and three assists.
Sport Mediaset claims Inter are willing to release Eriksen this summer with a tag of 60 million euros. This will certainly make them profit 40 million euros.
Besides Eriksen, several other Inter stars will also be on the sale list. One of them is Milan Skriniar who has indeed been in demand by a number of top European clubs.
