Werner and Lukaku injured, Chelsea stays strong
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Without the injured Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku, Chelsea are still going strong. That can be seen from the 7-0 goal celebration over Norwich City in week nine of the Premier League which took place at Stamford Bridge, Saturday (23/10) night WIB.
The goal has been opened from Mason Mount’s goal in eight minutes. Jorginho picked up the ball from Grant Hanley’s impeccable clearance, then Jorginho provided the assist for Mount’s goal. 1-0 Chelsea lead.
10 minutes later it was Callum Hudson-Odoi who scored. Starting from the good vision of Mateo Kovacic who passed the ball past the Norwich defense, Hudson-Odoi greeted him and scored. 2-0.
Before halftime Chelsea were on the lead 3-0. This time in the third goal Reece James listed his name on the scoreboard when he received an assist from Mount. Chelsea are already three goals ahead and it looks like the game was over for Norwich.
Sure enough, despite Norwich’s two substitutions early in the second half, Chelsea moved further away in the 57th minute. Kovacic again provided the assist for Ben Chilwell who overlapped and scored. 4-0 to Chelsea.
The situation got worse for Norwich as Max Aarons scored an own goal in the 62nd minute. Aarons tried to prevent a cross from Hudson-Odoi, but the ball went into Norwich’s goal which was guarded by Tim Krul. 5-0.
Not only conceding five goals, Norwich also played with 10 players when Ben Gibson received a second yellow card and led to a red card in the 65th minute.
Chelsea seemed dissatisfied with this advantage and scored two additional goals in the 85th and 90th+1 minutes. Both by Mount from a penalty, and another goal when receiving an assist by Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Chelsea won 7-0 and maintained the top position of the standings.
