DBasia.news – Slowly but sure, Real Madrid’s players left during summer transfer market. After Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo, it’s now time for young full-back 19 years old player, Achraf Hakimi, who left the squad.
Madrid’s academy alumni moved to Borussia Dortmund in transfer loan for two seasons. Hakimi will join Dortmund’s training session with the new coach, Lucien Favre, after Morocco national team’s loss in group-phase of 2018 World Cup.
Dortmund has the multitalented players who can play as right and left full-backs, also a middle defender, when needed. Hakimi is the type of modern full-back who can monitor the wing line to overlap the attack. He is also discipline in defending.
“Achraf Hakimi is a young, very dynamic full-back who has played at the very highest level with Real Madrid and the Morocco national team,” Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said in an official statement.
Last season, Hakimi was boosted by Zidane to Madrid main squad from Real Madrid Castilla. He scored two goals from nine La Liga matches. Hakimi also has the experience playing in Champions League when Madrid faced Tottenham Hotspur in group-phase.
Hakimi’s presence will tighten the competition in full-back position with Marcel Schmeizer, Lukasz Piszczek, Erik Durm, and Raphael Guerreiro.
Dortmund is the perfect place for Hakimi in learning strategy, as the Germany club is known as the power to boost the young player to become Europe top player.
