DBasia.news – AC Milan new striker, Gonzalo Higuain, raised his voice about the decision to refuse Chelsea. Higuain assumed Il Diavolo Rosso wanted him more.
AC Milan recruited Higuain from Juventus with loan status for one season. However, Milan has the chance to buy the player with £31M or Rp557 billion at the end of the loan period.
The decision to join AC Milan has been thought well by the 30-year-old player. Moreover, his former coach who is now in Chelsea, Maurizio Sarri, also wanted him.
“I have huge respect for Sarri, but he was the only one who wanted me at Chelsea. Here at Milan, everyone wanted me,” Higuain said reported Sky Italia.

“The motivation and conviction they showed at Milan were fundamental,” the former Real Madrid player continued.
Sarri has a big role in Higuain’s career. Furthermore, the Argentina national team player scored 38 goals in 42 matches.
Higuain’s decision to refuse Chelsea made Sarri felt a bit of regret. However, the Italian manager admitted that the transfer market is hard to be predicted.
“Higuain? It’s a little regret but in the end, everyone after the market have a few little regrets,” Sarri revealed.
