DBasia.news – Paulo Dybala has yet to find a new club, even though the 2022-2023 season is about to start. There is a reason why Paulo Dybala currently does not have a new club.
As is known, Dybala officially parted ways with Juventus at the end of the 2021-2022 season. The two parties did not find an agreement to continue cooperation.
Juventus’ decision to let Dybala go for free certainly made the public wonder. The quality of the former Palermo player is certainly above average.
Dybala was quickly linked with another big club following his split from Juventus. Inter Milan even became one of the clubs who seriously approached him.
But until now, Inter have not officially announced the arrival of Dybala. The Nerazzurri instead chose to send Romelu Lukaku back on loan.
Slowly, rumors of Inter’s interest in Dybala faded. Then it was AC Milan’s turn to be linked with the player.
AS Roma and Napoli are reportedly also interested in signing Dybala. However, there are no signs of Dybala’s transfer saga coming to an end anytime soon.
According to a report from Sky Sport, the salary factor is the main reason Dybala does not yet have a new club. Clubs do hope to be able to pay lower wages than at Juventus.
In his last season with Juventus, Dybala received a salary of around 7.3 million euros per year. While Inter were reportedly only able to pay him 6 million euros per year.
Ironically, the offer of fans other than Inter is even lower. This is what makes Dybala still reluctant to accept it.
Interesting to see where Dybala ends up heading. He has also been linked with a number of clubs outside of Italy.
If he wants to continue a career in Serie A, Dybala may have to sacrifice a little by lowering his salary. Clubs like Roma or Milan certainly will not refuse his presence.
But if he insists on his current salary level, Dybala will have to be a little more patient. Playing in England can be a solution that can be taken.
But this option is not without risk. Moving outside of Italy will make Dybala have to adapt to a new country and football culture.
This could risk Dybala’s chance to strengthen the Argentine national team in the 2022 World Cup. His name could be crossed if he fails to perform optimally in the first half of the 2022-2023 season.
