DBasia.news – Xavi Hernandez says that Barcelona have done a great job in the transfer market this summer, with they have brought in six important players.
After signing Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and Jules Kunde, the Catalans have recently formalized the signing of Marcos Alonso from Chelsea.
However, Barca have also released several players, including Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who was brought in by the Blues.
Even so, Xavi remains satisfied with his current squad.
“They [club officials] have built a great squad for Barcelona, not for me,” Xaxi was quoted as saying by Marca.
“This team, this great squad, was built by Mateu, Jordi Cruyff and Joan Laporta.”
“I miss a player, and I can say that I am satisfied and have no complaints, the club has tried and I thank you.”
Asked about the departure of Auba, who has only been with Barca for less than a year, Xavi said he felt sorry for him, but he still praised the former Arsenal man.
“Aubameyang helps us a lot, as a person he is a treasure, he always smiles and always trains well.”
“I feel sorry for him, and for every player who has left, but they are all professionals.”
