DBasia.news – Since arriving in Barcelona last January, Yerry Mina couldn’t join the main squad. The transition from Brasil to Spain wasn’t easy for the Colombian defender.
But Mina has a unique way to help him bear with his new club. This strategy makes the training session more fun.
“When I arrived, to create a good atmosphere I started to bet with Messi and Suarez to see who took the best free-kicks in training,” Mina told Bocas magazine.
“I did it just to watch them. Before I knew it they were taking 50 euros (Rp845,000) a day off me.”
“I was like, ‘I’m paying for these guys to go shopping!’ But the truth is those monsters put the ball wherever they want it. They are fantastic people and they are wizards,” he continued.
Currently, Mina’s future in Barcelona is still blurry. Recently, the defender who performed impressively during the 2018 World Cup was rumored as the target of some clubs like Everton and Manchester United.
“In terms of my future, I have no idea but I’m calm about it. I’m 23 years old and have a lot of football left to play,” he answered about his future.
