DBasia.news – Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid coach, was disappointed by the performance of his foster children against Leganes. According to him, El Real should be able to perform better against Leganes.
Real Madrid surprisingly played 1-1 against Leganes in the final match of the 2018-2019 League on Monday (15/4). Moreover, they were left behind by their opponents first.
Jonathan Silva made Leganes be ahead first when the match ran for 45 minutes. The first half ended with the home team’s superiority.
Real Madrid only responded when the second half went on for six minutes through Karim Benzema. The 1-1 score lasted until the match ended.
After the match ended, Zinedine Zidane admitted that he needed to improve Real Madrid’s performance. Zidane believes that Los Blancos had lost concentration.
“As a coach, I have to improve the performance of the players. We have to try harder as this is our duty,” said Zinedine Zidane.
“We did not play well throughout the first half, but it was better after the break. Real Madrid must try harder to improve performance,” continued Zinedine Zidane.
These results have made Real Madrid be held in third place on the LaLiga interim standings. Los Blancos are four points behind Atletico Madrid in second place.
