2020-21 Season, Italy Allows Spectators to Come to the Stadium

DBasia.news – Italy will allow more spectators into the football stadium in September. This step will be taken if the COVID-19 situation supports.

As reported by Reuters, Sports Minister Vincenzo Spadafora emphasized that the capacity of the stadium will still be limited.

The top two divisions of Italian soccer competition, Serie A and Serie B, have resumed competition since June following a three-month gap due to the corona virus pandemic. Nevertheless all the matches were held closed without spectators.

“If curves are possible, supporters can return to the stadium in September,” Spadafora told Radio Rai.

“Certainly we cannot fill the stadium as before. But we must respect the entire set of steps being studied at this time.”
