Roberto Mancini Is Concerned About Mario Balotelli’s Condition

By db-admin

DBasia.news – The manager of the Italian national team, Roberto Mancini, expressed his concern and sadness to see Mario Balotelli change from the golden boy of Italian football to a strange man.

Mancini does have a special relationship with Balotelli. Mancini gave Balotelli his Serie A debut while at Inter Milan. At that time the striker was only 17 years old, in December 2007. Balotelli then made his first appearance for Italy before his 20th birthday.

Balotelli then followed Mancini to Manchester City. Here, while showing a glimpse of brilliance, his stay was marred by controversy off the pitch.

Over time, Balotelli often changed clubs. Balotelli also played for AC Milan, Liverpool, Nice, Marseille and Brescia. Now, at the age of 30, Balotelli is without a club.

“I am very sorry to see him in this condition. At 30 years old he should be in the maturity of football technically and will be very useful for the national team,” said Mancini as quoted by Goal.

“I love him. I always wish the best things always happen to him.”

When appointed as Italy coach, Mancini tried to save Balotelli’s career when he called up the striker. But the striker couldn’t keep his place.

After leaving Brescia, Balotelli has been linked with several clubs at the end of last season. He also briefly said in early October he would join a new club “in a few weeks”.
