2020 European Cup Qualification: England National Team Struggled to Win over Kosovo

DBasia.news –  The 2020 European Cup qualification group has continued until Wednesday (11/9) AM. Two big countries, France and England, both won. However, England struggled to win.

The England national team who played in front of their own supporters in St. Mary’s Stadium were left behind earlier than their guest, Kosovo. In fact, their goal was broken in the first minute through Valon Berisha.

Luckily the England national team reacted quickly with Raheem Sterling’s goal seven minutes later. The first half ended with four additional goals from the Three Lions.

An own goal by Margim Vojvoda and Jadon Sancho’s two goals closed the gap. Entering the second half, Valon Berisha and Vedat Muriqi had given hope to Kosovo. However, the 5-3 score lasted until the end.

In another match, the French national team hosted Andorra at the Stade de France. Playing in front of their own supporters, Les Bleus appeared aggressively from the start of the match.

Kingsley Coman opened the French national team’s advantage in the 18th minute. Didier Deschamps’ squad had the chance to add a 10-minute lead after Antoine Griezmann’s penalty was successful.

The French national team were able to add a goal seven minutes after the break. Clement Lenglet successfully used Antoine Griezmann’s ball to register his name on the scoreboard.

Wissam Ben Yedder closed the French national team’s goal before the fight was over. Ben Yedder who replaced Olivier Giroud struck the ball into Kosovo’s goal.
