Gonzalo Higuain

DBasia.news – Chelsea are still curious of signing AC Milan striker, Gonzalo Higuain. They are targetting and apparently, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri granted the transfer possibility.

Gonzalo Higuain was rumored associated with Chelsea during the transfer market this season. But, at that time, he refused and chose AC Milan. During an interview, Higuain said Rossoneri wanted him more than Chelsea.

But, Milan aren’t the friendly place yet for Higuain. So far, he is still trying to find back his accuracy. From 21 performances, the former Real Madrid player just scored 7 goals.

Despite the failure to perform impressively, it doesn’t lessen Maurizio Sarri’s interest to sign Higuain. No wonder, they once collaborated in Napoli. Sarri is one of the figures brought Higuain achieved the top scorer trophy in 2015-2016 Serie A with 36 goals.

Alvaro Morata

“I miss Higuain a great deal. I miss him because he’ll keep scoring goals until the day he dies. He is a goal machine,” Sarri told Corriere dello Sport in the beginning of this season.

The problem is, Milan signed Higuain with the on-loan formula worth 18 million euro and release clause worth £16,3M. It means, to sign him permanently, Il Diavolo Rosso need 36 million euro budget. Chelsea would be the third party if the transfer happens.

To solve the problem, Chelsea would like to sign him with a temporary contract. Next, The Blues would insert Alvaro Morata’s name to negotiate the fee.

Currently, Alvaro Morata has the same situation as Higuain. The Spanish striker hasn’t performed as expected.
