Acerbi considers Immobile is More Worthy than Ronaldo and Messi to Win Ballon d’Or

DBasia.news –  Seeing the ability to score Ciro Immobile, Francesco Acerbi considers that his teammate is a figure who deserves the Ballon d’Or title this year.

“Immobile is a great friend and striker. We must protect it. I hope he scores a lot of goals,” Acerbi said as quoted by Football Italia, Thursday (11/14/2019). 

“If he continues to play like he is today, he deserves to win the Ballon d’Or. He really deserves to get a lot of success,” added Acerbi.

According to Acerbi, Immobile was so happy and enjoyed playing at Lazio. That makes Ciro Immobile a goal machine for the Roma club.

“He is happy at Lazio. He scored less in the last season but this season he showed the ability to score goals,” he said.

Acerbi also alludes to Lazio’s performance. According to him, the Elang Capital team this season is targeting to be able to appear in the Champions League next season.

“We aim to play in the Champions League and we hope to continue that way. Four consecutive wins must be a good starting point,” concluded Acerbi.
