After Self-Practicing, Kante Returned to Join Chelsea
By db-admin
DBasia.news – N’Golo Kante was reported to have rejoined the Chelsea squad in a training session. Previously the French player had practiced by himself at his residence.
As is known, Kante has been absent from Chelsea’s training session since the last May 20th. He was allowed to practice independently for fear of being infected with the corona virus.
“Kante joined when the team was involved in a series of different skill training menus,” the official Chelsea statement said.
The 29-year-old player actually appeared at Chelsea’s inaugural practice during the pandemic on May 19th ago. His appearance at that time was a little different as his head is now covered with hair.
But a day later, Kante was not seen on the field. He asked for permission to practice at home.
Kante has his own fears with this virus. His family’s track record with a history of heart disease was the main cause.
But the situation which is getting better seems to make Kante’s worries decreasing. The last corona virus test that was held by the Premier League did show no additional positive cases.
Kante’s return will certainly be positive news for Chelsea manager Frank Lampard. He has the opportunity to play in the comeback of Premier League match against Aston Villa on June 21st.
