After Six Goals Drama Against Girona, Madrid Are Closer to Copa del Rey Semifinal

DBasia.news –  Santiago Solari squad Real Madrid failed to follow Barcelona who got defeated in the first leg of Copa del Rey quarter-final. Playing at Santiago Bernabeu against Girona, Friday (25/1), Los Blancos won 4-2.

But, Madrid won’t give up. Ramos inspired his team when he scored the second goal at 77′. Won’t return to the backside after the corner kick, Ramos headed the ball from Marcelo’s cross passing. 3-2, Madrid dominated.

The goal party at Santiago Bernabeu was summed up by the fourth goal from Karim Benzema at 80′. The French striker ended Isco and Vinicius collaboration and changed the situation to be 4-2. The victory brings Madrid closer to the semifinal round of Copa del Rey.

The second leg would be conducted at Girona home on Friday (1/2). Madrid only need to stay unconceded more than two goals to qualify for the semifinal.
