After the Contract with Juventus, Douglas Costa Is Advised to Join Manchester City
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Brazilian soccer legend Rivaldo asks Juventus striker Douglas Costa to join Manchester City. The Citizens are reportedly targeting the bomber to move closer to the Etihad Stadium.
“If you look at the transfer market, I think if Douglas Costa moved from Juventus to Manchester City it would be a good opportunity,” Rivaldo said as quoted by Tribal Football on Friday (24/7).
According to him, Costa would be better off moving to the Premiere League than continuing to be a bench warmer at Juventus. On that basis, said Rivaldo, this is the right time for Costa to leave.
“Costa doesn’t play much at Juventus, even though he can find a bigger stage to shine at City. Moreover, City also wants it,” he added.
“Professional career is very short, for that it is very important for him to look for a new club to get regular flight hours. He is a great player that I enjoy,” he concluded
With The Bianconeri, the 29-year-old bomber has recorded 29 matches in all competitions. However, he was only able to package three goals despite the striker’s position.
