Agent Denies Lucas Hernandez receives the highest salary at Bayern Munich
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Lucas Hernandez’s agent, Manuel Garcia Quilon, has denied any news regarding his client receiving salary of 24 million euros (around Rp411 billion) per season. This was done in order to stop the rumors regarding Hernandez as the highest paid player at Bayern Munich.
The existence of these rumors has made the three icons of Bayern Munich, Thomas Mueller, Manuel Neuer, and David Alaba make demands on the club.
“What was reported was untrue. Hernandez did not receive 24 million euros, not before or after taxes. I do not know who said he earned that much income,” Quilon said, as quoted from Goal.
Not only because Hernandez’s salary was high, his tag when brought from Atletico Madrid also reached 80 million euros (around Rp 1.3 trillion). This is what influenced the salary rumors.
“He even earns less than this amount. Maybe someone saw a mistake or someone wants to corner him,” he continued.
Hernandez was brought in to fill the center back position. However, due to frequent injuries Hernandez’s position is threatened, especially Bayern coach, Hansi Flick, trust David Alaba more. The result, he only appeared in 14 matches in all competitions.
Previously playing for five years with Atletico Madrid, Lucas Hernandez has won a UEFA Super Cup and Europa League. Not only that, Hernandez also won the 2018 World Cup title with the French national team.
