Aguero is most likely to be absent until the end of the season due to a knee injury

Aguero appeared as a starter in the match between Man City vs Burnley at Etihad Stadium in the continued Premier League, Tuesday (6/23/2020) AM. But the Argentine striker was unable to complete the match.

Pep Guardiola revealed that Aguero had problems with his knee. The City manager said Aguero’s injury showed no positive signs.

“It doesn’t look good, something on his knee, we’ll see tomorrow (Tuesday) in a better way,” Guardiola said as reported by Sky Sports.

“He’s been having a hard time this month because of the pain in his knee. We’ll see.”

When asked regarding the possibility of Aguero to play again for the rest of the season, Guardiola was pessimistic.

“Tomorrow we’ll see. I’m not a doctor, but it doesn’t look good,” Guardiola added.

Aguero’s injury is unfortunate news for City, who also competed in the FA Cup and Champions League. After the 5-0 win over Burnley, City have been waiting for Chelsea in the continued Premier League, Friday (6/26/2020) AM.
