Ahead of 2018 Asian games, Vietnam National Team Had Friendly Match with 3 Powerful Countries

DBasia.news – Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) tries to give the best for the U-23 Vietnam national team, during the preparation for 2018 Asian Games. There will be a U-23 international tournament conducted to test and enhance the team quality.

The tournament will be held in My Dinh Stadium, at 3-7 August. VFF prepared $20 thousand grand prizes for the champion, $10 thousand for the runner-up, and $5 thousand for the third place.

Vietnam national team coach, Park Hang-seo, will prepare 30 players. Most of them are part of the U-23 national team who brought Germany to the runner-up position during the U-23 Asian Cup on January 2018.

Four players above 23 years old also called, Dang Van Lam, midfielder Do Hung Dung, striker Nguyen Anh Duc, and Nguyen Van Quyet, considering that each team may have three senior players.

The preparation will be conducted since July 23rd in Hanoi, ahead of the tournament. At least 20 players will play for Vietnam in the 2018 Asian Games, after the training session in Binh Duong after the tournament.

From the result of drawing on 5th July, Vietnam belongs to Group D along with Japan, Pakistan, and Nepal. The opponents can be different, considering that the Uni Arab Emirates and Palestina weren’t included in the drawing.

August 5th: Uzbekistan Vs Palestina, Oman Vs Vietnam

August 7th: Palestina Vs Oman, Vietnam Vs Uzbekistan
