DBasia.news –  Vissel Kobe midfielder, Andres Iniesta, revealed that he was not ready to stop playing football or retire.

Iniesta was recently rumored to be returning to Barcelona. Diario Sport reports that Barca tried to repatriate him in January.

When asked about the question, Iniesta said he would still respect his contract at Kobe, but he was still motivated to return to playing.

“My intention is to go back to playing football. I have a contract here until 2021 and I’m motivated to keep playing. I want to feel the moment with the ball and grass again, “said Iniesta as reported by El Mundo Deportivo.

As is known, the Japanese J1 League has been suspended since February. The league ran for a week in the first week.

Iniesta came to Vissel Kobe in 2018 and won the Emperor’s Cup last season. In February he continued to bring the title to Vissel Kobe by winning the Japanese Super Cup in a penalty shootout against last season’s J1 League champions, Yokohama F. Marinos

In December, Diario Sport also reported that Iniesta would join Argentine club, Estudiantes de la Plata, but there were no signs of the Spaniard in moving.

Andres Iniesta joined the Barcelona academy in 1996. He made his debut with the senior team in 2002. During his 16 years at the Blaugrana, he earned more than 30 titles including four Champions League titles.
